12 Days of Pilates Challenge

Joseph Pilates said, “Patience and persistence are vital qualities in any worthwhile endeavor.” Starting April 19th, we invite the DBP community (and beyond!) to join our 12 Days of Pilates Challenge.

Imagine yourself on May 1st, having done 30 minutes of Pilates every day for the last 12 days. How much stronger and more flexible do you feel compared to earlier in April? Can you visualize how much better your posture is? With access to our Restore & Renew library, you’ll have had the support to fulfill this vision.

Is this challenge right for me?

This challenge is appropriate for you, whether you’re new to Pilates or wanting to deepen your practice. Our classes start seated in a chair, tuning into breath, and progress to more full-bodied movement. Some classes are specifically targeted towards concepts or body areas, such as:

  • Upper Body Strengthening & Neck Pain Relief
  • Flexibility & Posture
  • Glute Strengthening & Hip Mobility
  • Core Strengthening & Low Back Pain Relief

All classes in this challenge are holistic in their approach. We teach to the beginner and offer modifications for the more experienced student. For this challenge, no props are required, just a chair, floor space, and a wall. A small towel or pillow is recommended. 

Where’s the accountability?

Register for The Challenge by April 18th and you’ll receive access to all 12 classes. On May 1st your access to the classes is gone…so you have to complete them in the 12 day window. 

Is there any flexibility?

You’ll get access to all 12 classes at once so you can do them on your own schedule. Sign up early and get your classes within 24 hours of registration!

What’s the pricing?

We will be offering a donation-based, tiered pricing option for this challenge, with 200% of all donations going to Food Bank for NYC. The suggested donation for this 12-class series is $96 ($8/class) with the option to donate more or less. Our goal with Restore & Renew online group classes is to raise money and to create a lower cost option to learn Pilates with DBP. We ask that you choose the tier of donation that is appropriate for you.

Once you’re on the Dynamic Body Pilates mindbodyonline website, click the tab for classes, search for April 19th and click on “Sign up now” for 12-Day Pilates Challenge.
